COURT HOUSE | CANAKKALE | NATURAL BUILDING PROJECT | 2018
The Courtyard House, as its name suggests, is a house spread around the courtyard. There is a transition/intermediate space between the rooms and the courtyard. Thus, all rooms are directly related to the courtyard.
The exterior walls of the Courtyard House were designed with the rammed earth technique, while the interior walls were designed with traditional mud bricks. The outer walls are kept thick to strengthen the thermal insulation.
