HOUSE of AH| BODRUM | NATURAL BUILDING PROJECT | 2021

AH House was designed in Muğla, Bodrum with the main material being mud brick. Divided by two streets on a vertical axis, the house emerged as a combination of both indoor and semi-open spaces. The volumes offer a rich spatiality by considering both sun and wind factors for maximum use.

In a place like Bodrum where the heat and humidity are high, adobe stands out as an important material for natural air conditioning. At the same time, building materials such as stone, wood, soil and lime used in the building offer a natural life and breathing opportunity due to their content. Terraces offer different experiences in addition to indoor and semi-open spaces. However, the terraces are still navigable.
